The album was recorded at Osbourne's home studio "The Bunker" in Los Angeles, California and produced by himself and Kevin Churko, who had previously worked on Black Rain in 2007. The album was considered commercially disappointing in comparison to Osbourne's earlier As if Chris Cornell's "Scream" wasn't enough to make us forget about the great album that Tony Martin put out with the same name, the Osbournes and their merry band of yes-men decided to also use the title after the infamous "Soul Sucka" idea fell through.
