As Yankovic shared on The Blocks podcast, a friend on Saturday Night Live helped him track Cobain down during rehearsals. Exploring comments made by Nirvana's producer for 'Nevermind', Butch Vig, who said that Kurt Cobain wanted the album to sound like Black Sabbath. Ozzy Osbourne might be the face of all things hard rock, but Kurt Cobain felt that only certain parts of his solo career was worth listening to. Even though the song composed by Nirvana was a little different from what Ozzy had done on his solo career and with Black Sabbath, the musician talked once in an interview with VH1 about the Kurt Cobain band an said: “I love Nirvana, it was like Heavy Metal meets The Beatles, you know, to a point”. Well Kurt Cobain in my humble opinion was probably the greatest singer, songwriter, writer of music since John Lennon. And sadly we lost him very early at the tender age of twenty-seven. Kurt Cobain was a huge Ozzy Osbourne fan.
