John Michael "Ozzy" Osbourne was born on December 3, 1948 and raised in Aston area of Birmingham, England. Ozzy rose to prominence as the vocalist of the ground breaking first heavy metal band [Artist687]. After 8 albums with Black Sabbath, he was officially fired from the band in 1979 due to alcohol and drug issues.
