John Michael " Ozzy " Osbourne (3 December 1948 – 22 July 2025) was an English singer, songwriter and media personality. He rose to prominence during the 1970s as the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Black Sabbath, during which period he adopted the nickname " Prince of Darkness ". [5] Osbourne became a founding member of Black Sabbath in 1968, providing lead vocals from their eponymous 'Just Say Ozzy,' is a live EP recorded on Ozzy Osbourne's No Rest For The Wicked Tour in 1989. Great Metal Albums of 1990: Ozzy Osbourne- Just Say Ozzy Not just content on releasing a compilation album, Ozzy also decided to release a live EP in 1990, “Just Say Ozzy.” The difference is that while “Ten Commandments” seemed not to have gotten much notice, “Just Say Ozzy” did. Apparently, it made it to fifty eight on the charts and was certified gold. Not bad for a live EP.
